Sunday: A chance for snow or mix of precipitation by late afternoon continuing into the evening; High: 36

Monday  Morning snow tapering off to flurries by late afternoon; High: 36

Special Information:

Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast for Saturday night with chilly temperatures. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 20s overnight. Clouds will increase early Sunday ahead of an early spring winter storm.

A mix of rain, sleet and snow will arrive by late Sunday morning and continue into the afternoon. The wintry mix will change to all snow Sunday evening with heavy snow possible locally. While some snow accumulation will be possible through the day Sunday, the heaviest snow accumulation will occur after dark Sunday evening and continue into Sunday night. Around 2 to 4 inches of snow will be possible for Columbus with 4 to 6 inches possible west and north of the city. Smaller amounts of snow are expected as you head southeast.  The snow will taper off through Monday afternoon with just a few flurries possible Monday night into Tuesday.   The exact track of the storm is still somewhat in question and will play a big role on the precipitation type and amounts, so please follow the Doppler 10 forecast through the weekend.
