Winter Storm Watch Issued For Parts Of Central Ohio

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the following counties:

Champaign
Clark
Hardin
Logan
Madison
Union

This Evening:    Clear skies.    
Tonight:    Clear and cool.  Low 25.
Tomorrow:    Mix of sun and clouds and warmer.  High 45.
Sunday     WINTER STORM WATCH for counties west of Columbus for heavy snow beginning around noon.  High 35.   

Special Information:
A late season winter storm is headed for Ohio with the potential for heavy snow on Sunday.  The hour by hour forecast shows snow moving into the Columbus area around noon Sunday and becoming heavy late Sunday afternoon and evening.    A mix of rain and snow is possible across Southern Ohio during the day Sunday before changing to all snow Sunday night.   The National Weather Service says 5-10 inches of snow is possible in the watch area.   We will have our snowfall forecast for the Columbus area later tonight.

Alerts :  WINTER STORM WATCH for counties west of Columbus Sunday into Monday.

Inconvenient Weather: Moderate to heavy snow likely Sunday afternoon and night.   Expect a heavy, wet snow with several inches possible by Monday morning.
