South Western City Schools Warns Parents After Student Approached, Grabbed By Man At Bus Stop

South Western City Schools officials said a man approached a middle school student at a bus stop Thursday morning.

According to a spokeswoman for the district, a student from Galloway Ridge Intermediate School was approached at the stop by a man who then grabbed the student.

The student was able to get away, officials said.

School officials sent a message home to parents on Thursday.

Columbus police were investigating the alleged incident.

School officials said that bus drivers are always on alert but police do frequent the area more often after reports of child enticement.
