Man Wanted On 70 Animal Abuse Charges Surrenders To Authorities

A man wanted on 70 counts of animal-related charges is in the Fairfield County Sheriff's custody on Wednesday.

According to the sheriff's office, Cory W. Dewberry turned himself in to the Fairfield County Municipal Court on Wednesday.

Dewberry was wanted for allegedly abusing animals at a dog training operation which he ran off of Carroll-Northern Road in Pickerington.

Sheriff's officials said that the dogs in Dewberry's care were abused and that there was evidence that some of the dogs in his care had died.
