The Ohio State University is offering students an incentive to take classes this spring.

Students can take up to three credit hours for free during the university's new four-week May session.

That works out to about one class and a savings of up to $1,146.

So far, more than 3,600 students have signed up to take at least one of the 260 accelerated courses, internships, field training or study abroad options.
