Puppy, Tabby Cat Stolen From Columbus Animal Shelter

Pets Without Parents issued an alert on its website on Tuesday about a puppy and a tabby cat stolen from the facility.

According to the organization, the two pets were stolen from the shelter, located on Oakland Park Avenue.

On March 14, an 8-week-old female longhaired tabby named Libby was taken.

On March 18, a 9-week-old puppy named Thorn was stolen, according to the facility.

Officials at the shelter said that the thefts occurred during open hours.

According to the website, the shelter is a no-kill, no-profit shelter.

Officials said that they rely on adoption fees to keep the shelter open.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call the shelter at 614-267-7297.
