Multiple people were injured after a crash along state Route 79 on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Heath police officer Brad Fisher was involved in the multi-vehicle crash that occurred on S.R. 79 at Irving Wick Road.
At least one person, as well as the police officer, was hospitalized after the crash.
No roads were closed because of the crash.
On Monday, the Ohio Highway Patrol said that officer Fisher has not been cited for the crash but is expected to be after he recovers.
