Special Information:

We’re off to a cooler start to the day than yesterday morning with morning lows in the upper 20s and low 30s. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies today with a chance for a rain/snow mix across southern Ohio. Some of our southern counties are under a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for the possibility of 1 to 2 inches of snow. However, temperatures could be just mild enough to allow rain showers to cut down on that accumulating snowfall potential. The precipitation will be along a front that will lift northward throughout the day. As it does, we’ll see the chance for the rain/snow mix in central Ohio this evening. The precipitation will change to rain showers overnight.

Showers will be likely Monday along with the possibility of a few thunderstorms. Highs will top out around 50 degrees before a cold front brings another shot of cooler air. We could see a few light snow showers Monday night and early Tuesday. The middle of the week looks mainly dry but cool with highs in the 30s and low 40s.

Alerts: WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Pike, Scioto and Highland counties from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Inconvenient Weather: A rain/snow mix will be possible this morning and afternoon in southern Ohio. Those chances spread into central Ohio by the evening. Rain showers are likely tonight and tomorrow.

Planning Your Day:  We’ll be cloudy and cool today with rain and snow south of Columbus. That wintry mix will be possible this evening in central Ohio with rain showers likely tonight.
