Licking County drivers would pay more for vehicle registrations if county commissioners follow the advice of the county engineer.

Commissioners told 10TV News they are considering a proposal to increase the registration tax by $10 to pay for road and bridge repairs.

Newark, Pataskala, Heath and Buckeye Lake drivers would be exempt from the hike, because they already pay the maximum fee allowed.
