UPDATED: Friday March 15, 2013 11:03 AM

Columbus Police closed part of Broad Street after a semi and a car collided around 4:00 a.m.

The car crashed into the truck's fuel tank at the intersection of Broad and High Streets, spilling diesel fuel onto the road.

Emergency crews reopened the road after 9:30 A.M.

HAZMAT crews and the EPA were both been notified because the fuel is running into storm drains.

Police say at least two people were taken to the hospital.  It is not clear the extent of their injuries.
