A woman was sentenced to four years in prison and told to pay $235,000 in restitution on Friday in connection with fraud.

According to the Ohio Attorney General's Office, Lady M. Whitney, 44, of Canal Winchester, submitted fraudulent bills to the Ohio Medicaid Program for medical services that were not provided.

Whitney assumed the identity of a Complete Home Health Care and Raamis Home Healthcare employee and fabricated health care aide time sheets for at least five patients.

The AG's office said that Whitney turned in 423 false time sheets to the two companies.

Whitney also cashed 81 checks, totaling more than $92,000, that were issued to company employees.
