Columbus police are investigating after a man said he was robbed outside his southwest Columbus home.
The alleged robbery happened around 6:45 a.m. in the 800 block of Cherry Bud Dr. near Hall Rd.
The victim told 10TV that he was inside the house with his wife and children when he heard a knock on the front door and did not answer.
A short time later he walked outside to see if anyone was around.
He said a man came out of the bushes, pointed a gun and demanded cash.
The victim said he handed over money and the man ran away from the house.
