A man surrendered to the Columbus police SWAT team after refusing to come outside Wednesday night.
Police said the man may have been armed when he barricaded himself inside the house at 1146 Lawrence Drive.
Officers evacuated the area of Lawrence Drive and Lockbourne Road as a precaution after the man opened a gas valve.
This is not the first time the SWAT team has been called to this same home.
10TV was there as SWAT officers arrested a man who refused to come outside following a domestic dispute in October 2012.
