Two people have been hospitalized after a small plane crash near Dayton, Ohio.

Dayton news outlets reported that the plane crashed shortly after 10 P.M. Monday.

The wreckage was found nearly 90 minutes later in a wooded area near the ramp linking Interstate 675 to I-75.

A state trooper found the survivors, who are being treated at a hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening.

Troopers said the pilot admitted to drinking earlier in the evening.

About 1,185 electric customers were left without power due to a damaged transmission line, and nearly 30 outages remained early Tuesday.

The FAA is investigating the crash.
