Employees said it sounded like a bomb exploded when an SUV crashed into the Hartman Corporation on Morse road Tuesday afternoon.
Police said that the crash, which occurred in the 3200 block of Morse Road at about 5 p.m., sent the store's owner and a customer to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was unhurt. She told police her brakes went out just before the crash.
Witnesses said that she was driving between 45 and 50 miles per hour at the time of the crash.
An employee at the store, who asked 10TV News not to be identified, said that as soon as she heard the crash, she saw her boss pinned by the car.
"He was pinned under the showcase," she said. "The customer was on the other side of the showcase, and the car was pinning her into the showcase."
She said a passerby saw the crash, ran up to the SUV and put the car into reverse to help unpin the two victims.
"There's still people who care," the woman said.
The employee told 10TV News that her boss and the customer suffered broken legs.
Police say the driver of the car who lives in Dublin was cited for failure to control.
