One person was found shot north of Chillicothe late Tuesday afternoon.
Officials from the Ross County Sheriff's Office said they were called to 2067 Stone Road around 3:15 p.m.
Authorities said that their investigation determined that the wound was self-inflicted.
The extent of his or her injuries had not been released.
