Police in west Columbus are investigating an attempted abduction that involved a 13-year-old who was headed to school around 7:30 a.m.
Officers tell 10TV the young teenager was walking along Clarendon Avenue near Mound Street when a man approached and tried to grab him.
The teen managed to escape and reported the incident at Hilltonia Alternative Middle School.
The teen reported that the suspect appeared to by in his 30s.
