Buckeyes To Face Winner Of Purdue-Nebraska

The Ohio State Buckeyes earned a first round bye in the Big Ten basketball tournament with their second place finish in the league's regular season.

Ohio State will play the winner of Thursday's Purdue-Nebraska game.

The Buckeye's Friday game at the United Center in Chicago is scheduled to tip off around 5:30 p.m.

Indiana, Michigan State and Wisconsin also earned first round byes.

School athletic officials said Monday that standing room only tickets are still available for the Big Ten tournament through Ticketmaster or the United Center website.
