Man Charged In Knox County Sex Crimes With Minors Behind Bars

The Knox County Sheriff’s Department reports that a man wanted on various sex charges involving minors is behind bars.

Jamie Cremeans, 42, was arrested and is currently being held in the Franklin County jail. He will face a judge on Monday.

According to the Knox County prosecutor, Cremeans is charged with rape, gross sexual imposition, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and corrupting another with drugs.

He is accused of raping a girl, having sex with another girl and giving her methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as providing marijuana to two other girls.

A judge set a $2 million bond for Cremeans on Monday.
