Police said residents of an East Columbus home were in the process of moving when their home was robbed.

The residents reportedly left their Fairwood Avenue home around 10:30 P.M. Sunday to transport some of their belongings to their new home.

While they were gone, thieves broke in and tried to steal the belongings that remained in the home.

Police arrested two suspects and say they found a gun on them.

It is unclear what items were taken.

Police were able to recover some of the items.
