Police said they did not suspect foul play in connection with a man found dead in Zanesville Thursday morning.
According to police, the body of 61-year-old Edward Swick of Zanesville was found shortly before 11 a.m. floating in the Muskingum River Canal.
The body was retrieved from the water and taken for an autopsy with the Muskingum County Coroner.
According to the coroner's office, foul play was not immediately suspected.
Anyone with information about Swick's death is asked to call the Zanesville Police Department at 740-455-0700.
