A 24-year-old man was jailed this week after his son suffered numerous facial injuries.
According to the Delaware County Prosecutor's Office, Derrick A. Johnston is charged with one count of felonious assault, three counts of endangering children and one count of domestic violence.
The prosecutor's office stated that on March 4, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office was notified about a domestic issue at a Lewis Center home.
Authorities found the child with multiple wounds. The child was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus for extensive medical testing.
Johnston, 24, was taken to the Delaware County Jail.
