Deputy's Cruiser Struck While Officer Was Responding To Another Crash

A Franklin County Sheriff's deputy was uninjured after his cruiser was struck by another vehicle along I-71 south on the south side.

According to the sheriff's office, the unidentified deputy was responding to a vehicle that had traveled off the side the road shortly after 11 a.m.

The deputy got out of his vehicle along I-71 near I-270 on the south side to assist the driver of the vehicle that had gone off the roadway when the cruiser was struck in the rear by another vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the cruiser was uninjured.
