Man Faces Charges After Allegedly Licking Window, Punching Officer

Police said a man was arrested for allegedly stalking a woman and punching a police officer.

Police were called to the Chillicothe Nursing and Rehab facility on Marietta Road to investigate a stalking report when the alleged stalker showed up, according to The Chillicothe Gazette.

An officer said he saw the alleged stalker, identified as 48-year-old Mark Vest, licking and kissing a window and making gestures toward the alleged victim, the paper reported.

The officer said when he went to confront the man, Vest punched him in the face, according to the Gazette.

The officer called for back-up and another officer used a Taser on Vest twice.

The Gazette reported Vest is facing a stalking charge and a felony assault charge.
