One Dead After Two-Vehicle Crash In Southeast Columbus

Two vehicles collided, killing one person on Saturday night.
 
According to police, the crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Gender and Refugee roads in southeast Columbus.

50-year-old Seth Quacoopome was driving southbound on Gender Road when he lost control and crossed the centerline into the northbound lane of Gender Road.

He collided with another car driven by 46-year-old Cyril Ntukogo.

Quacoopome was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating what caused him to lose control of the car.
 
Ntokogo was taken to Mount Carmel East.

He was treated and released around 3:30 Sunday morning.
