Police: Man Held Gun To Victim's Head During Home Invasion

Police said a man barged into a Linden home on Saturday night and stole a number of items.

According to police, the alleged home invasion occurred shortly after 8 p.m. in the 2200 block of Marcia Drive.

Police said that the man knocked on another man's door and then held a gun to his head.

The man took several items, including TVs, and loaded them into a silver SUV.

At about 9:15 p.m., police said they spotted the vehicle and the man near East 23rd and Hamilton avenues. Police chased the man but lost him near an apartment complex.

One person was later taken into custody at about 10 p.m. on East 19th Avenue. The name of that person was not immediately released.
