WBNS-10TV and The Community Shelter Board will team up again for a “Day to End Homelessness," a campaign to raise money to house homeless adults and families who are swelling Franklin County shelters beyond capacity.
On Monday, March 11, 2013, WBNS-10TV will host an all day telethon from 6 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. Donors will be able to contribute over the phone or online.
The campaign will urge Columbus-area residents to become a “Housing Hero” and contribute $1 a day or $30 a month via credit card. All money raised will support the Community Shelter Board's nationally recognized programs, including prevention and rapid re-housing.
