Bank Employee Allegedly Caught Stealing Thousands

A woman accused of taking thousands of dollars from her employer is facing a grand theft charges.

The Chillicothe Gazette reported that a Beaver bank employee, 38-year-old Lorrie A. Thornsberry, is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing later this month in a Pike County Court for her fourth-degree charge.

The county will handle the investigation; however the FBI was notified of the situation.

The violation date was listed as January 2010, according to the Gazette.

The fourth-degree felony alleges that Thornsberry is responsible for taking between $7,500 and $150,000. No specific number has been released, the paper reported.
