The Columbus City Schools Board of Education was slated to meet Tuesday evening to discuss their efforts to find a new superintendent.
The district said board members will meet with a group of consultants to lay out the plan for recruiting, interviewing and hiring a replacement for Dr. Gene Harris.
Harris announced in September that she would step down at the end of the school year.
Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates has been hired to help with the search.
