Easton Town Center has announced plans to build a new district geared more toward children and families.

The retail and restaurant complex will be expanded to create an area called Fenlon Square. It was being named after the street running through the eastern end of the development.

Stores for kids will be featured in the new district. Build-A-Bear Workshop would move from its existing space to Fenlon Square. The American Girl store will debut in the new district.

Developers told The Columbus Dispatch that Fenlon Square was projected to open in June.

It is a part of a broader expansion that will eventually include Costco and Whole Foods sometime in 2014.
