A person was struck by a vehicle on the southwest side Saturday night.
According to police, the person was struck along Harrisburg Pike, north of Little Avenue, at about 8:30 p.m.
The unidentified person was hospitalized in critical condition.
The vehicle that struck the person stayed at the scene. Charges are not being filed, because the person was not in a crosswalk, police said.
