A Muskingum County man is facing attempted murder charges for allegedly attacking a woman.
Prosecutors said Chad Brill cut a woman inside a home in Chandlersville, southeast of Zanesville.
Several people called 911 to report screams coming from a home before the reported stabbing.
The woman was taken to the hospital. She is recovering tonight.
