Up to the minute school delays, icy road conditions and accident reports on 10TV.
Central Ohio residents woke up to an icy glaze on the roads on Friday morning.
Jeff Campbell was leaving his Cherry Creek neighborhood and did not know just how slick the roads were. His car ended up getting into trouble.
"I got to the bottom, and there was no getting back up. It literally just spun out from behind me," said Campbell.
Many people found themselves stranded, and that included people waiting at a local Greyhound bus station.
"Looks like we're not going to be able to board the bus," said one would-be passenger.
Most school kids avoided the bus on Friday as well, as schools closed due to the ice. Columbus City Schools used their first calamity day of the school year when they canceled classes.
For others, it was just a matter of scraping a layer of ice from with windshields before starting a slow commute to work.
A number of crashes were reported as people tried to negotiate the slick roads.
On Henderson Road, two semis could not get up an ice-covered hill, and vehicles were spinning out everywhere.
Whether it was by car or by foot, it was not easy to get around central Ohio Friday morning.
