A Lancaster man said he was attacked by a machete-wielding assailant.
The man said he went to another man's home on North High Street around 2:30 a.m. Thursday when the resident came out of his home swinging a machete.
The victim reportedly suffered a cut to his right hand.
Police could not immediately find the attacker.
Authorities have not said if they plan to file any charges out of the attack.
