Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Gas Station Clerk Slaying

A judge sentenced an 18-year-old to life in prison for the killing of a gas station clerk in Febrary of last year.

Austin Cusey was handed his sentence on Thursday.

Cusey, along with Jeffery Collins and Eddie Murphy, were charged in connection with the death Mohamed Hassan. Hassan was found shot to death inside the Sunoco gas station, located at 201 W. Bridge St.

Cusey was offered a plea deal to testify against the others in the crime, but he turned that down.
