Police Search For Shooters Considered Armed, Dangerous After Man Shot, Killed

Police are searching for a vehicle that may be linked to a deadly shooting in east Columbus.

Homicide detectives told 10TV News that the victim, identified as 25-year-old Tony C. Walton, was dropped off at Mount Carmel East Hospital just after 9 p.m. Wednesday.  That person died before midnight. 

Detectives say they are actively searching for a 1995 red or maroon Crown Victoria with temporary license plate No. W593014.  

Police wanted to warn residents that the people inside may be armed and dangerous.

Police are still trying to figure out where the victim was shot. 

The names of those involved were not immediately released.

The shooting remained under investigation.
