A Franklin County grand jury indicted a 22-year-old man in connection with allegedly using a dead man's credit card.
Christopher Burcham was indicted on three counts including theft, identity fraud and misuse of a credit card.
Prosecutors said that Burcham stole the card from George Addy's wallet after he died in late 2012.
Burcham was a friend of Addy's daughter, according to the indictment.
Burcham allegedly charged $40,000 on the card over the next month by running it through a card reader on his phone, according to prosecutors.
If Burcham is found guilty, he could face up to four years in prison.
