Driver Killed In Valentine's Day Crash Identified

Franklin County Sheriff's deputies have identified the person who was killed when his minivan struck a truck at a Georgesville Road railroad crossing.

Lawrence Mabry, 53, of Columbus died in the crash.

According to investigators, Mabry struck a 2002 International truck carrying fuel from behind as it waited at a railroad crossing about 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 14.

The crash remains under investigation, but police do not suspect drugs or alcohol.

The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.
