Child Hospitalized In Critical Condition After SUV Crashed Into Tree

One child was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital after an SUV crashed into a tree near New Albany Tuesday morning.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, an SUV struck a tree along Harlem Road, just south of East Walnut Road, in northeastern Franklin County at about 8 a.m.

The child was in critical condition. Three adults also were hospitalized at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.

The names of those involved were not immediately released.
