Police were investigating after a report of a woman shot Tuesday morning.
According to police, the woman was shot at about 9:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of East Blake Avenue, off of Joyce Avenue, in northeast Columbus.
The female was stabilized by medics and taken to Grant Medical Center. She was shot in the leg, authorities said.
The name of the woman was not immediately released.
Police said that witnesses said two men were seen running from the scene of the shooting.
