A graduate from Fairborn High School in southwest Ohio has been killed in Afghanistan, according to WHIO-TV in Dayton.
Christina Maddock, 27, was serving as a civilian defense contractor for Intelligent Software Solutions.
Maddock was critically injured, according to her employer. No other details about her death were released.
Maddock is a 2003 graduate of FHS, and began working for the information technology company based in Colorado in November.
