At one Delaware County school, students are encouraged to bring their cell phones to class.

Thanks to grant money from the Delaware County Foundation, Delaware Hayes High School is working to mimic the Geek Squad and “Genius’” at Apple stores at the school.

The school’s principal said the vision is for a team to train students to share their skills and knowledge of technology.

The students would offer technical assistance to other students, teachers and members of the community.

Students interested in participating in the program must go through training.
