Police were looking for a man on Sunday who stole an electronic tablet device at a gas station.

A customer had finished pumping gas at the Speedway station at Bridge and Main streets around noon Thursday when a Kindle Fire fell out of his vehicle.

Another man in a dark green Jeep Compass or Patriot pulled up to the pump, picked up the tablet and put it into his vehicle, according to police.

The man suspected of taking the tablet was caught on video by surveillance cameras.

Authorities classified the case as a theft because there may be personal information on the tablet.

Southern Ohio Crime Stoppers was offering a reward for a tip leading to an arrest at 740-773-TIPS.
