Several crashes shut down the northbound lanes of Interstate 71 near Mount Gilead on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the northbound lanes, between state Routes 95 and 97, were closed shortly before 4 p.m.
The road reopened at about 4:30 p.m.
Many drivers in the area reported icy conditions on the roadways.
The names of those involved in the crashes and the extent of their injuries were not immediately released.
