Pills, Marijuana Discovered During Valentine's Day Traffic Stop

The Ohio State Highway Patrol took two people into custody after they said drugs were found in a vehicle during a traffic stop.

Troopers stopped the vehicle on U.S. Route 23 in Scioto County Thursday night around 10:20 p.m.

When they searched the 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, troopers discovered five grams of marijuana and 1,116 oxycodone pills.

Anthony D. Owens, 47, of Warren, Mich. and Marquetta M. Davis of Detroit are facing drug possession charges.
