EPA Responds To Report Of Garbage Truck In Creek

An unknown amount of fuel spilled into a creek when a garbage truck crashed into a creek on Friday afternoon.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, no injuries were immediately reported after the crash, which occurred near Dana and Hickman roads north of Hanover.

The Ohio EPA responded due to the fuel spilling in the creek.

Large cranes were on hand to remove the garbage truck from the creek.

The names of those involved were not immediately released.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
