Columbus police are warning parents after two boys say a man tried to grab them as they walked from school.
The 9-year-old and 13-year-old said it happened Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. on Sharon Woods Blvd. near Schrock Rd.
They told their mother that a strange man approached them and grabbed the 9-year-old’s backpack.
Neither of the boys was hurt in the incident.
Columbus City Schools are expected to send a letter home with students in the area informing parents about the incident.
