A man and woman face multiple charges for allegedly producing meth.
According to the Athens County Sheriff’s Office, the Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant on a large-scale active meth lab in the 16000 block of Canaanville Road in Athens.
Agents said that they found an active shake and bake meth lab in operation at the home.
David Schuetzman, 50, and Samantha Hummel, 25, were arrested and charged with illegal assembling or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and endangering children.
Two young children and an elderly female were located inside of the home with the meth.
Children services took custody of the children.
The two could face additional charges.
