Ohio authorities have found no evidence that a car was shot at along Interstate 270 Wednesday morning.

The Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation told the car's owner that they believe the back window of her vehicle broke due to a previous crack.

The woman called 911 around 6:45 a.m. to report the incident.

Sheriff's deputies did not find a bullet in the car which made them cautious about the report at the time.

"We don't know if it's just because it was a cold day, maybe she hit a bump and knocked the window out, and we have some markings that are a little suspicious on the headrest. So, we're just going to have to be very cautious and treat this as a possible shooting. But at this time, we have nothing concrete, evidence that we actually have a real shooting. So we want to make sure no one panics," said Scott.

The woman was not injured.
