A fire was reported at an apartment on the northwest side of Columbus Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to 1085 Merrimar Circle North, which is north of Henderson Rd. and east of Kenny Rd. around 7:15 a.m.
No one was home at the apartment and no injuries were reported, according to fire officials.
A cat was rescued from the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
